South Bohemian Science & Technology Park –  1st phase

South-Bohemian Science & Technology Park (JVTP) is founded as a common project of  University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, South-Bohemian Chamber of Commerce (through JAIP, o.p.s.) and   South- Bohemian Region (through   JVTP, a.s.).


JVTP is located in campus of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice and serves as entrepreneurial incubator and entrepreneurial innovation center, in which the scientific knowledge may be applied practically in commercial use by innovating and technologically orientated companies. Those companies are provided in the park building advanced laboratory and technical background focused mainly on biotechnologies and simultaneously offices.

Moreover, JVTP offers also the possibility of virtual registered office (companies may establish their registered office here, also if they carry out their activities in other premises).

1st stage of JVTP, built in 2008, is administered and operated by the South Bohemian Agency for Support to Innovative Enterprising (JAIP). Besides the rooms,  JAIP offers also supplementary services in the form of  consultations, establishing contacts with research and public institutions, potential investors, technology tranfer, project management


The environment of South-Bohemian Science & Technology Park is suitable especially for:

  • Starting   technologically oriented and innovative companies, mainly small ones or small and middle sized enterprises in the region and outside the region with the new technological intention/project.
  • Physical persons with spin-off type intentions, or start-up intention complying with the conditions of prepared company foundation for implementation of intent in JVTP premises.
  • Private research institutes/companies with prevailing economic activity in the area of research and development.
  • Institutionalized forms of companies′ co-operation – technological platforms, clusters, association of companies with legal personality etc. with new technological intent/ project.
