A Roadmap for Integrating Corporate Social Responsibility into EU Member States and Business Practises

Contents: The overall objective of the project is to help EU member states to apply CSR as a holistic management approach to SMEs having in mind Directive 2014/95/EU and to help member states to incorporate in their programmes CSR measures for SMEs. In this way, SMEs will increase their competitiveness and therefore be sustainable in the long run. The policy instruments of the participating regions will be improved by incorporating the CSR principles and create measures/programmes that will help SME’s to use CSR as a holistic management approach and therefore making them more competitive, sustainable, innovative and help them to manage change towards a sustainable global economy by combining long term profitability with social justice and environmental protection.

CROWDfunding to mainSTREAM innovation

Contents: CrowdStream`s main objective is to improve the effectiveness of public/private business-support for innovative spin-offs & social enterprises to access qualitative alternative financing (crowdfunding). The CrowdStream project will initiate a change in the financing market. Due to quality labelling and capacity building activities there will be a major shift from donation based to equity based crowdfunding. The main project result will be: Improved cooperation between business-support-organisations and enterprises to guarantee a qualitative access to crowdfunding.

Funding Policies to bring Innovation to finance/market/people

Contents: The main objective of „InnoFun” project is the creation of the specific methodology and the digital tool, whose main task will be to speed up the process „from Research to Sale”.The project’s main objective is to improve regional policies concerning innovation funding in order to achieve the ultimate goal of making the selection criteria more flexible and reducing the communication gap between innovation and finance/market/people. The Access to information will be easier and the innovative ideas funding will be speed up.

RAPIDE

Bringing innovative products and services to the market more quickly

Programme: INTERREG IVC

Project dates: 10/2008 – 6/2010
Contents: RAPIDE has been identified as a ‘fast-track‘ network by the Commission which means it will help inform the development of future policy on innovation. RAPIDE is a capitalisation network involving 13 partners from 11 Member States. Its aim is to implement good practice relating to the role of the public sector in stimulating innovation in partner regions, in particular helping businesses (primarily SMEs) to bring innovative products and services to market more quickly. The long term objective of the project is to stimulate innovation in partner regions, increase economic growth and therefore to contribute directly to the Lisbon agenda.
